My rig won't power on. Fans only spin for one sec and then stops.

Hello

I am a newbie.

The problem is that my rig won't power on. Fans only spin for one sec and then stops. I've also tried without GPUs, only with the vga cable plugged in the Mobo.

Mobo: Biostar TB85 BTC Pro
GPU: 6 x MSI GTX 1070 AERO 8GB OC
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black HX316C10FB/4, 4GB DDR3, 1600MHz, CL10
CPU: Intel G1840
SSD: Samsung Evo 850 250GB
PSU: Corsair AX1200i - 1200W

I did the self test and the PSU shows the green light. I also carefully installed the PSU and cables. Maybe the PSU, CPU or mobo is dead?

Any suggestions?

You might already have overloaded the mainboard's voltage regulators trying to install....(did I read correctly?) 6 each 1070 GPUs??

Is (was) the motherboard certified to supply 70-75 watts of power to each of 6 different PCI-e slots?

I had the same with my 1070 rig. 1200 psu is not going to work. single 1070 takes 175-225, times 6 is like already close to 1200 and with mobo etc you exceed psu limit. Buy 1600w one. To add to this: I used Biostar tb250 pro btc mobo. make sure you also connect all pci-e power per card as most need 2x6.
