[SOLVED] my router's adsl led not working?

Hello!, whenever i turn on my router the adsl led keeps turning on until it stops and then the internet starts working
but after 20 to 30 minutes the adsl led turns off but the internet led is still working so that's weird?

what's the cause of this?

My crystal ball says your router may be defective. But if you have no problems with the service, I would not bother by a LED going weird.

And I will ask about the router: make and model?

Connections being along the following line diagram:

ISP -----ASDL line----> Splitter/Filter ---->one port out to telephone and the other port out to router.

Could be a connection or cable problem. Splitters/Filters can falter.

Or, as per @Alabalcho could indeed be just a weird LED.
