Question My RTX 2080Ti Isn't hitting optimal FPS shown in online benchmarks?

Hi all, quick question. I just purchased an RTX 2080ti for my new build I put together last week. Along with an Asus PG279Q 1440p monitor.
After a lot of testing, and watching an overclocking video yesterday. I noticed that my cards frames just weren't as high as the one in the OC video, before the over clocking segment of the video.
Then, out of curiosity, I looked online at benchmarks and my card is CONSISTENTLY pushing about 10-40 fps lower on games than benchmarks at the same settings, same resolution, with the same card; It's an ROG Strix 2080ti from Asus.
It's still possible for me to take the card back to micro center for a refund, but I was wondering if there is a solution I might not be seeing?

Could this be related to temps for example, or perhaps the power supply, something else in my build perhaps, or maybe I got a defective card? Or is it just silicon lottery (I sure hope not having forked over 2 years of saving up for this build)

Build Specs(just the major stuff):
CPU: i7 9700k (Factory Clock)
MoBo: Asus Strix z390-e
Ram: G.Skill Trident Z 2x8Gb
PSU: Corsair 750 RMx
Monitor: Asus ROG Swift PG279q
GPU: Asus ROG Swift 2080Ti 11GB

Thanks for the help!
