Question My Ryzen 7 3700x won't turn on. Any help?

Everything else turns on. The LED light from my mobo says it doens't detect the CPU. (Red Light)

New build. Corsair RM 750, PSU MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi, Asus KO OC RTX 3060 ti.

OK... it should power on out-of-the-box with a B550. Nothing about memory but I'll assume you've two DIMM's of DDR4 and they are in the 2nd and 4rth DIMM socket going away from CPU.

First thing: are you connecting the monitor to the GPU and not a connector on the motherboard I/O plate?

Second: have you done a CMOS reset? Do it with a battery pull, leaving it out a couple minutes while you short the pins.

My CPU light on the mobo turns on for a but, then the BOOT light turns on and the CPU light turns off.
