my samsung laptop keyboard stopped working

my samsung laptop keyboard stopped working I've tried everything from restoring to resetting I literally ran out of ideas and tried looking it up. My keyboard has a few working keys the rest are non functional. Was working fine the next thing I know the Web browser is acting crazy I'm typing in the search engine and the letters have numbers with it, also a box with coloured codes kept appearing at the bottom of the screen. Any ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hello Jodie,

Have you tried restoring the OS or Updating the Keyboard Drive. Since their is colored codes on the bottom of the screen, Suggest you to take to the service center, Check if your laptop is still under warranty. Try this if your laptop is not under warranty.

  OS Re installation
  Make Sure to have external keyboard and mouse. In case if your keyboard does not work while reinstalling
