My samsung m3 1tb was working fine. I was deleting something off it and this cancelled midway through and then I went on to my computer and the hard disk was not there. I checked the connection, I took it out and put it back in again through different usb ports and nothing. The blue light is on when it is connected as it should be. Once you connect it it starts making clicking noises for around 5 seconds and then nothing appears. I have checked other PC's and I get the same response. I have also tried to find it in device management and it is not recognised. Could you please advise?

Hi there Milena Gorska,

Sometimes, faulty cable could cause clicking sounds. So, it will be a good idea to connect the drive with another USB cable(Y type preferably).
If the issue persists, there is either something wrong with the enclosure or the drive itself. If you don't need the data and the drive is still under warranty, you may just RMA it.
