My Samsung SSD 830 benchmark seem weird?

^ above is my benchmark from AS SSD

As I found on google, all Samsung SSD 830 had Seq -> READ -> 500+ mb/s
mine is only 188 mb/s


What is happening? How can I get the best out of my ssd?

My Spec
OS: Windows 8 Pro 64bits
Processor: i7 950
RAM: 24gb
GFX: GTX 680
Mobo: mSi x58a-gd65

I had changed my BIOS Controller Mode all to AHCI...
But on startup and BIOS boot sequence, it still show IDE:SAMSUNG 830...

Is it plugged into a 6Gb/s port? Is it using the latest firmware?

Double check your Ports and update the drivers. Marvell controllers aren't very good though and others have reported issues with Samsung SSDs and that board. I know mine doesn't run at full potential with a Marvell controller either

You have an old LGA Socket 1366 motherboard that is no longer in production. Some of the older boards do not play nice with modern 3rd generation SATA 3 6Gb/sssd's.

Did you do the BIOS, chipset, and driver updates?

I updated all my drives, bios drives...
did a benchmark, still the same...

Can you try your SSD on the internal Intel Controller, it often works better with the Intel 3 GBit/s, just be sure to set it to AHCI.

yea, i am using the 3gb/s intel chipset port now... suppose to be marvell controller fault? or my x58 chipset fault?
