My sandisk 256g SSD doesn't show up in "my computer", I'm running windows 7. when I plugged it in it ran installation and said

Sandisk 256g SSD not showing up properly on Win 7, although it shows under devices and printers I cannot access it and it doesn't show on 'my computer' as a drive

If it shows up in Disk management, you may need to put a partition on it and format it.

It shows up in Disk management but I can't format it with Windows Disk management!
