[SOLVED] my sata 3 speed are 150MB when it should be 600MB

i do video editing. so when i move a file from my M.2 drive to my HDD it gets going at 1GB then it drops down to 150MB i brought a new cable but that did nothing

When moving data, the speed is dictated by the slowest device in the chain.
Here, the HDD.

No matter how fast the SSD can serve the data, the HDD is in control.

so if i have WD black gaming HDD witch i do. it will only do 150MB?

Yes, a 7,200rpm HDD usually does 150Mb/s (mechanical limitation).

You may get better transfer speed with a 10,000rpm or 15,000rpm HDD (those used for data center).
