[SOLVED] My screen gets very distorted when I take my monitor to 144hz

My older parts bottlenecking my gpu would that explain the issue? I have a Gtx 1060 graphics card a msi b350 motherboard and a Ryzen 1600 do I need to upgrade to solve the issue?

and the monitor model is? connecting with dvi/dp or hdmi?

full system spec? include make and model of the psu

Monitor Acer 27inch ED273 Psu EVGA 550w bronze ram Corsair vengeance 8gb hard drive western digital 1 tb and I’m connected with dvi

did you create the 144hz or it that from the driver?

there are multiple ED273 model are you sure you have the one that support 144hz?

It can go to 144hz but it gets very blurry

still think you got the wrong model.
did you try 75hz?
and lookl like the 144 model need DP cable for 144hz

No you can use a dvi d cable and I’m sure I have the 144hz model

are you sure you have 1060?
use gpu-z to id your card

Well that shows how much I know I did have a display port and it is working at 144hz thanks man
