Hi guys, i have Samsung SA300B monitor, and whenever i turn on youtube or anything that is light black coloured, the lines show up. When i play anything that is different colour lines are not visible. They are grey lines, about one centimeter wide. Im not very educated about screens so can anybody tell me what the problem is? I am using adapter from dvi-d to vga so i tought that might be problem or the screen is the problem itself, is that fixable and how much would that cost?
I dont mind for lines being there, i just wanna be sure everything is fine or could i fix it.

Solution
A lot of monitors have trouble displaying certain shades of gray. Solid colors also tend to reveal a monitor's shortcomings when it comes to uniformity.

VGA does come with a few extra caveats, namely synching the output to the display refresh. Most monitors should handle this automatically and an active adapter should output a consistent signal.

My guess would be nothing is wrong. You can run through this website if want to. http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/

Should give you some piece of mind that monitors are never perfect.
