My screen keeps going black

My tv connected to my pc keeps going black and turning back on within seconds as if it was changing resolution or refresh rate but it changes neither. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

its your graphics card. does it do the same thing with a monitor?

have you tried a new cable?

i don't think its either tbh, its been fine with the tv for a while and the wire is perfectly fine
