My screen

Hi, my laptop screen keeps flashing if i bend in certin ways. I am getting a new one soon but im hoping to know what I can do if this happens to another computer of mine. would it be the wiring? or something else? help is appreciated =)

Probably the ribbon cable between the motherboard and the screen is on the way out.
