So i bought a Radeon R7 250. and When ever i restart the computer, the monitor goes to sleep, but the computer seems to be working just fine( i hear the windows logon sound). its the same case when i shutdown my computer, and switch it back on withing a few seconds. Even when i put the computer to sleep, and then wake it up, the computer wakes up, but the monitor still is in sleep mode! So i decided to open the cabin, i noticed the fan of the GPU wasnt spinning! any idea what the problem is?? :(

Solution
some of those video cards need six pin power plugged in from the power supply. check to see if your card has those power plug ports on the back of the card. if it has then your missing power to the card. if your card is one that gets all off it power from the pci slot on the motherboard then your bios is set wrong. with newer amd and intel motherboards that have built in video most pc vendors set the primary display to auto or ipgpu first now. go into the bios and set it to peg/pci see if the issue stops. if it does not check to see if your motherboard has the newest bios file installed. could be a bios bug.
