My SD card is reading the wrong size!!

People of TH, i come to you once again with my plight! I recently dug up a 64 gig ultra class sd card that i wanted to use, however, upon plugging it in, it gives me storage options in the kilobyte range. Naturally i've tried reformatting it over and over and over, various different way but it doesnt work any other way. I have a Kodak 72 in 1 reader that im using which should be adequete to read the card. What should i do next? its basically a really crappy paper weight at this point.

Try erasing it from dos and re creating the partition:

I realize you might not be running windows.

I am running windows 7, and the formatting and such didnt work.

it's either your reader or the card, but one of them is defective and it is usually the card.

its gotta be the reader because i just opened the card.
