storage device creating problem
my seagate 1 TB hard disk is not working...the hard disk can't be read by the computer but it can be seen in the device manger for few minutes then the light on the hard disk starts blinking and it gets disconnected what do I do???

I would RMA the drive.

I think its an external drive, if so, then first try to replace the USB cable. If the problem persists, then open the caddy/case of the drive and plug the drive directly to the MB of a desktop system as a secondary drive(non boot). See what happens.

Or you could buy another caddy/case to try on, if you don't have desktop system.

NOTE : Opening/breaking the case/caddy of the drive may void the warranty.
