[SOLVED] My second display is black when connected to the HDMI cable

I was working on it with an ASUS monitor but recently when I turn it on it shows a black screen. I tried connecting another laptop to the display with the same cable it worked fine. And when connecting it to my laptop it shows all the details of the second monitor and shows it is connected but the second monitors screen is black.And when I take a screenshot it in that scrrenshot it shows both displayed. My GPU is Nvidia GTX 1050Ti

what is the whole pc specs? also could you post a gpuz screenshot of your gpu (the 1st page)

yeah, I extended. Actually, I used this setup for around 1 month. From yesterday this problem occured.

try this step by step (read until end):

• Disconnect from internet
• Uninstall gpu driver DDU (clean and do not restart).
• Uninstall all the processors and chipset on device manager (should be 12 on yours, also when it asks for restart, click on no) like this:
  
  
  
  Chipset (ignore if there is none):
  
  
• Restart the pc to bios, and update to the latest bios (make sure battery is 100% and power plug is plugged in). Then go to bios again after update and load default or optimized settings.
  
  
• boot up to windows and install the latest Chipset driver, reboot, and connect to internet.
  
  
• Install the latest nvidia driver.
  
  *do this all offline until reboot after installing chipset driver, also you may reboot to bios after all of this to set the XMP (and previous settings you did). Download needed files (highlighted word) before doing step 1, do the step by orders.
  
  
• And check windows update (and optional updates) if there is any and install them (except chipset in optional update). Also enable Hardware Accelerated Graphics Scheduling (available on the latest win 10 update) in graphics settings like this and reboot:

Um asking again because I tried bios update today but bios didn't update correctly and showed the old bios again and also I am kind of afraid.

Yes, I tried another laptop also It works fine with the same HDMI cable also. The problem is everything looks fine but the monitor is black like the display is gone

hmm, you could try those step by step and skip the bios step, i am unsure how did you fail the bios update, maybe this could help:

I tried searching the bios and I found E16P5IMS.302 currently also my laptop has the same bios version but two months older

I tried changing the resolution of the driver. It makes the display visible again but with low resolution. Is there any fox for that?

yeah I tried it but still only below 800x600 resolution works fine. but above that display goes black again
