My #2 monitor is dark;

Using Nvidia Control Panel; I can adjust the settings but I have to do this every-time I start my computer.
Even more strange; the settings have to be further adjusted with each reset, and then I eventually have to reset the monitor to default to start over again.

My monitors are stacked LG, IPS, Ultra-wides, of different sizes/models; I'm using a GTX 1070; on Windows 10; my dual display is set to "extend these displays"
Monitor one is attached by Displayport, and monitor 2 is attached by HDMI.

I appreciate your help!

Solution
Test it with just each monitor alone and make sure both monitors are OK ruling out that. They both test OK then it’s probably a software configuration issue

Thank you for your input, but I believe someone will have a solution;

It does "save" the settings, but when I restart the computer the monitor will be dark again.
ex. If I bring the brightness up to 55; when I restart I will have to bring it up to 60, or I can change to "Use default settings" then switch back and set it back to 55. It's a pretty annoying process.

The monitor and GPU aren't even 2 years old, and if I set it to be the only monitor it works fine.
