The screen is an Acer KG271C, about 3-4 years old, and it just turned all white yesterday without any former issues. It seems to be working properly, getting recognized by the system, pixels remain white with just power cable plugged in. The pixels are basically stuck on white. Thus can't use the buttons on the side to reset since can't see what I'm doing. Time for a new display? Any help would be much appreciated.

Leave it for an hour or so no power cord plugged in, then try again.
Over time all caps in the monitor will discharge complete.
It may spring back to life letting you use the settings buttons.

Otherwise it sadly just went off life a bit early 😞

Only option is some electronics enthusiast that would give it a go.
You may be lucky that you have a specialist repair shops in your area that would give you a reasonable quote on repair.
