Hey guys

I've just built my own computer for the first time, and I thought it would be much easier than it apparently is. I am pretty sure I have plugged everything in where it needs to be, but the I can't get it so send a picture to my computer screen. I can turn it on and see all the fans working as they should. The screen however remains black, and i notice that there is no light in the keybaord either when I turn on the computer. I have tried plugging the screen into the video cards DVI input, and the motherboards VGA input

I have made a sketch of exactly how I've plugged everything in, which can be seen below. at the bottom of the sketch, I have inserted a picture of one cable I haven't been able to find a slot for on the mainboard, I don't know if that might cause the problem.

Cabinet:

Motherboard:

Thanks a lot in advance!

I have installed two power plugs to the motherboard. I have numbered them 2 and 3 on the sketch I posted.

And thanks for the link, I will try all the steps out tomorrow. Thanks for the support!
