Hello folks!

I have an unusual problem, and when i say unusual i mean as an IT Engineer guy it is unusual, any how.

I have a server at home running 24/7.
As of late, every 5 to 7 days, the no device in my house can access the internet unless i shut my server down.
I have a Router which is feeding the server and the router also feeds Ubiquiti Access Point, and also feeds a NAS server and a switch which in turn feeds my main rig.

Again this only happens once every week. I did format the server, and tried a new server, still the same problem, i did try a new router, it didn't help.

The server is running Windows 10 professional, with plex and Kaspersky.

Any bright idea??? :)

Are you running a web server, or is this a home file/media server? Any sort of errors on the other devices when this occurs?

My first suggestion would be to check the network activity on your server using Task Manager / Resource Monitor to find if there is a particular process consuming a lot of bandwidth or flooding your network.

I used to rub a webserver but now only plex and remote desktop to it from work.
The weird thing is that I tried different routers DIR-880L
And Asus rt-ac88u. They both suffered and cut the internet out from the house.

But I will check the task manager, I only checked the event viewer and syslog for the router and nothing unusual was there.
