my shift key dont work

my samsung notebook rv509 model keyboard shift and capslock didnt work. please help. is it hardware prblem. is it possible to fix without having to use external keyboard coz i cant carry around averywhere with ext-keybrd.

Both Shift keys don't work or only one side? You can boot off a Linux boot CD (Knopix is good, just burn the Live CD for it to use), if the keys work with that, it's not a hardware issue. If they don't work there either, you can buy a replacement keyboard.
