[SOLVED] My sister's HP Elite x2 keyboard is not working.

Hello, so my sister own's an HP Elite x2 with a detachable keyboard or they call the travel keyboard. Out of nowhere it suddenly won't work, and we've tried tons of trouble shooting that we've researched on Google, but it still doesn't work. I've seen a lot of people owning this laptop having the same issue or problem, but they managed to fix it by trouble shooting it.

Try the keyboard on another known working computer.

Try other known working keyboards on the laptop.

Determine if the problem stays with the laptop or follows the keyboard.

What did those other people do as a result of the troubleshooting? What was found and what actions were taken?

For example: manually downloading and reinstalling the detachable keyboard drivers - perhaps the current drivers are buggy or corrupted.
