Hi, I have a problem whereby my SSD is connected via x2 instead of x4. My motherboard is the ASUS Z270f which has 2 PCIe x4 slots. Is there a way to change my x2 to an x4. My knowledge of storage systems is limited so would be great if someone could help me out. I currently have 1 WD M.2 NVMe 1tb SSD connected, a Kingston 120gb SATA6 SSD connected and a 1tb WD BLUE HDD connected in SATA6. My cpu is an I7-7700k.

If you look. On Transfer Mode you can see I'm currently on PCIe 3.0 x2 mode but I can support PCIe 3.0 x4 mode. Due to this, I'm only getting 1780 MB/s Read/Write speeds.

Here’s is some extra information:

Solution
Is the SN750 in the M.2_2 socket? If so, you can change it between X2 and X4 in the BIOS - see pg. 46 of the BIOS manual. Be aware that two SATA ports, 5 & 6, will be disabled. Perhaps you have something using one of those ports dropping the drive to x2. Alternatively, use the M.2_1 socket instead. See the diagram here.
