I have a friend who used to do cable internet installs. I'm getting oddly high ping lately. So, with that being said. Does this SNR rating mean that I need to have a tech come out and investigate? He said it's oddly high :/ [my friend]

My SNR is is like 38.7 - 40.4 DB on the downstream. Is this causing massive ping spikes?
If you need any more specs or readings just reply 🙂

Solution
If the issue is only in games, I doubt it's your hardware, but it may be something on the ISP side. If you had an issue with your wiring you'd see issues with all connections.

I did contact them. Their solution was to remote reset my router and modem. I have an all in one router-modem. My ping only jumps when I join game servers. Anything like Teamspeak or skype is good with no ping spikes, but like in csgo, I average 80 from local game servers. When I used to get 30-35. And it jumps to 500-100 every 20-30 seconds.
