My son cracked the screen on tablet, it still works, but it won't let me login using my finger

My son dropped my laser etablet, it's not completely shattered, it still works, it lets me slide some icons but won't let me unlock with my finger. Can I pull the back apart to get it working or should I just go and get a new screen. P.S My nephew has a tablet that has an even bigger crack and he can still use his.

Look around for a repair shop. There is one within 3 miles of my house that will replace a cracked screen on an andriod tablet/cell phone in 2 days for $50

Bring it to a service center as soon as possible since if you don't fix it immediately more damage will pop up.
