Hi all, I will be purchasing a PC soon and need some advice.

Approximate Purchase Date: 4-8 weeks.

Budget Range: $2500-$3000 AUD.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming.

Parts Not Required: Sound Card.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: www.PCCASEGEAR.com

Country of Origin: Australia.

Parts Preferences: AMD or Intel? ATI or NVIDIA?

Overclocking: Maybe.

SLI or Crossfire: No.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 (what is ever better for my monitor).

Additional Comments: I am not sure if I should wait for Bulldozer and ATI's 7000 series? I Also like to keep the theme of my build black and red 😀

So I really need to know if I should wait for the new Bulldozer CPU's and ATI's 7000 series of GPU's?

Bulldozer yes, as it should be available in a month or so, ATI 7000 might take until Dec so it depends.

But it's roughly the same thing as always.

- bulldozer 1 month or so
- ATI 7XXX 2-3 months
- NVidia 6XX 4-5 months
- Ivy bridge 6-7 months

So pretty much take your pick.
