Question My sound cuts off and my mouse and keyboard freeze - but the game keeps playing ?

PC model: HP Omen 45L Desktop PC

I was playing COD streaming to my friends on discord, when suddenly the sound cut out. Then, even though my RGB mouse and keyboard were still on, I couldn't control the game, CTRL ALT DELETE, or anything at all. I had to restart my entire computer before regaining control. They kept killing me over and over in COD though because I couldn't control anything. I was really confused bc the program was still working, but I couldn't control anything.

The audio cutting out and requiring me to restart has happened multiple times. One time, it even switched audio back to my speakers while not allowing me to control the computer.

I have the recent drivers from HP and everything. What's going on with my computer?

Hi there,

try the latest updates.. maybe something went wrong with the drivers of the Sound and conrtrols.

Let us know after reboot what the results are !
