My sounMy driver was reinstalled, but still no sound!

Hey there guys, I need help,
The other day my friend came over with a pair of new headphones and we thought we'd try them. The mic didn't woork and he thought he knew how to fix it, but he accedentilly uninstalled my sound driver so now no sound at all came out. We reinstalled a realtec sound driver supposedly made for my motherboard but still no sound.
PLEASE HELP, I've been stuck for ages.

Unless it's a custom-built or home-built computer, only the PC or laptop manufacturer has the correct drivers on it's website.

However, if it is custom-built or home-made, download from the motherboard manufacturer's website.
