I got some speakers from my grandpa, they are Compaq JBL Platinum Series, they look like this:
I didn't have a power supply for them, but on the back it said 12VDC, so I used one that was 12VDC made by DVE. The speakers made a buzzing noise and doesn't output sound, so I tried using a different power supply, but same thing, even when unplugged from my PC and even when its not turned on. I tried moving them away from my moniter, moving my phone, ipod, and tablet away, but it did not work. It says the speakers are connected to the PC, but no sound. What should I do. My dad said these speakers are really good quality and are better than my built-in TV sound, and my Tv was made before 2010.
