Hey I do vido editing and my DaVinci resolve has been really choppy. Even at 1/2 display quality.
My specs are:
Rtx 3060ti
32gb ram
Ryzen 7 3800x
I run off m.2 nvme ssd
Have a hdd of 2tb

Are these specs not good enough to push threw DaVinci resolve?
What changes would you recommend to make it run smoother I would prefer not to upgrade my motherboard for am5 cpu...

On a side note my m.2 nvme ssd that my windows is on keeps saying scanning and repairing every time I boot up my pc. Why does this happen? Is it ok to just leave it? Is there a fix I can do to fix it?

Thanks for the help

if you don't use the hdd for davinci, try unplug that when you doing edit
how full is the m.2?

M.2 is 50% full. Due to budget I only have 500gb of ssd but I keep vast majority of non essential programs on hdd with rhe exeption being my editing software

Assume your m.2 is about to croak so have a full backup.
