Hi! I'm kind of new to this and I just ordered my first gaming computer and I wondered if somebody could shed som light on my spec
So here they are:

Intel® Core i5-2500K Processor

ASUS P8Z77-V LX, Socket-1155

Kingston ValueR. DDR3 1333MHz 8GB, CL9

MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti 1GB PhysX

Sony Optiarc DVD±RW Writer, AD-5280S

Seagate Barracuda® 1TB

OCZ SSD Agility 3 Series 2.5" 120GB

strange that the person/company you ordered from put a z77 mobo with a 2500k o.o
other than that its pretty good, i have 2 560 tis and i throughly recommend them to gamers looking for a price effective card.

It would have been better if you ask the forum before ordering so you will have better flexibility.

If there is still a chance to change any component, I would suggest that you consider another power supply. The silver power is not bad & I see it meets the specs but it could be noisy & the spacing between the connectors are short which may possibly cause problem in cable management.

Unfortunatly I can't change any of the parts now 😛 I should have asked before, but thanks anyways 😀 I'm thinking about upgrading the PSU, GTX and adding a couple of fans in their later. Do you think I can run BF3 on high with these specs that are there already?

Can you move to the 7850?

I was on a very tight budget, I believe in dollars it would be 2000 USD? Well it was 10.000 Norwegian Kroners 😛 I'm very certain that maybe around christmas I will be upgrading into a GTX 6xx card, I guess that's better than a 7850?

What's the flaw by adding an i2500K with the z77?

It will work but will not optimize the z77 because it is a PCIe 3.0 capable board but the i5-2500K is not. The i5-3570K would be a better match. But that's it. Performance wise, PCIe 2.0 or 3.0 does not matter. & the i5-2500K overclocks cooler than the i5-3570 if you care about it.
