Question My CPU speed is unstable ?

Moved to laptop forum as that's more appropriate --- moderator.

I have changed the charger and reset the computer to defaults, but it still lags.
Please help me as I can't play games anymore .

I would assume you are talking about a laptop since you said changed the charger.......but a little more information would be helpful.


What type of system are we talking about?
what are the specs of said system?
CPU
Motherboard
ram
GPU
PSU ( if desktop make and model and how old)

If its a laptop and you have had it for a while it probably needs cleaned. open it up, clean the fans and repaste the cpu.

AMD® Ryzen™ 3 3250U (4 MB Cache, 2 Core, 2.60 GHz to 3.50 GHz)
AMD Radeon graphics
16GB DDR4, 2400MHz RAM (upgraded from 8GB)

Max TDP is 15W
I've used it for 3 years
