My SSD has started doing extremely strange things

A drive compartment on my C: drive called H: has started doing mysterious things. I have emptied it of everything. The drive is empty, but still thinks it's full. Some things still get's installed there for no apparent reason. I'm starting to think the drive is dying (It is an SSD over 5 years old) but I want to know if it can be something else.

You just empty it? Instead of format and delete all ssd partition
Reinstall windows and try, just under 10 minite

if it a dell or hp you have those partion there becuase of the factory reimage software is there or was.

No, it's a custom build. It can't be formatted. Nor can I interact with it in any way in disk manager

try a malware and anti virus scan. if you have too try using diskpart commands to fix the issue.
