I have pictures, but they are in French, so I cannot post them, but my technology Intel storage rapid software
says MY SSD is in Danger (SMART)

It's not permanent, the message appears and sometimes disappears, but today it appeared a lot while I was playing NBA 2K25, and I am a bit worried, because it happened in the past too.

Do you have a known good backup of ALL the data on this drive?
If not, you want to do that now.

Pictures in French are probably not an issue...we can generally figure it out.
I have 100 gb of one drive I could use, but I recently reinstalled Windows 11 so I don't really need to backup anything I will just reinstall games.

I'm sorry you had to type all that out. If you mentioned you were on a laptop, I'd have asked for a make, model and SKU of the laptop. As my colleague above has stated, you should backup your data while you're yet able to. If Intel's Rapid Storage Technology is flagging a drive with an error, you should pay heed to it.

Can you see if anything is flagged with a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager? If so, Maybe pass on a screenshot of what you see there.

Use your laptop's serial number on Acer's support site and see if you have any BIOS updates pending.

device manager is fine for now.
intel storage is fine (for now) it says good state ( for now)

and for the Bios I checked and I got the latest.

So all I have to do is backup data and wait for the SSD to die in the future?

Heat related?

Apologies. I took three years of French and these many years later can't speak a word of it outside a greeting.
probably not heat

When you say, for now, do you mean you do see an error message with a yellow exclamation mark show up in Device Manager?
Oh, nah in Device manager it never had an exclamation mark, honestly if it happens here I think it means buy a new SSD ASAP

Yellow triangle in Device Manager is normally driver related.

Do you clean this laptop often and leave it up on surfaces where it gets unobstructed air flow from below?
Do you monitor system temps?

If I were going to go out on a limb I would consider the issue is related to air flow and thus temps. A bad SSD doesn't just become good. An overheated one will.

I don't monitor system temps I just leave the laptop at the same place and never move it, I think the airflow is good, but I could clean a bit
