My SSD is in my bios, but not the boot order. Only my mechanical drive is. Does this mean I need to do something first before

I install my OS onto it? I'm using my sata express ports. Cheers

Enter the BIOS and make the SSD the first boot device. Install the OS on the SSD. Also, connect the SSD to SATA 0 - 0 (SATA III) has the highest priority among the SATA ports

So, where I've plugged the SSD can affect it appearing? It's in the 6th (last) SATA III port. Which is express

Yes that will work too, Make sure that the SSD is the first boot device in the BIOS.
