My SSD won't show up / install ?

Solution
Try to install windows on the problem Kingston drive under the notion that the install itself might solve whatever the problem is. Use this practice guide and disconnect your C drive before the install. Then follow the guide.

If that does not work, boot up into the C drive and download and run the Kingston drive utility called SSD Manager from here

https://www.kingston.com/en/support/technical/ssdmanager

The application may not recognize the drive. However it well might. The purpose of running this program is to suggest if there are problems it can identify and to update the firmware of the Drive which may solve the problem..

If that does not work, contact...
it's weird, there was another user on this forum who's kingston like yours would not show up. hmmmmm, is there any way to test it in another system? can you test it with an external SATA adapter perhaps to test the drive? it might just be bad. they have electronics on them that can fail.

First, I would test the drive , if possible, with the Transcend SSD Scope which is their drive analysis application. In particular it will update the SSD firmware, always something to do when trouble arises.
Get it here
https://www.transcend-info.com/Support/No-631

On that page is the tech support information. That's what you should do next if the firmware update does not work or is already installed.

i would not trust the util to update firmware, let kingston software do that once the drive is formatted properly, and, that software won't be able to see it most likely. I would bet that if there is nothing wrong, booting usb windows installer and letting that blast all partitions and format would do the trick. also make sure AHCI is on

Yeah its the Kingston. Where are my glasses ?
He says he installed it, not that he loaded Windows so there are no partitions. I can support his installing Windows. If that doen't work using the Kingston SMART software is the best option.
Kingston® SSD Manager. This runs in windows and upgrading the firmware if possible and available will help at least in eliminating that as a possible problem.
If that does not work, OP should just call Kingston Support.
EDIT
Disconnect the Transcend while installing Windows !
