Question My studio monitors are making a static sound

My HS5 single monitor speaker is making a static sound when it's turned on but when I turn it off the noise stops. It is hooked up to the headphone jack in the back of my PC. Any help?

You could try and replace the audio cable used to pair the speakers to the sound card and see if that alleviates the issue. You can also try and make sure you're sound card is up to date with the latest drivers and that the motherboard's BIOS is up to date. On second thougths, please list your specs like so:

Plugging it into a good DAC will most likely fix the problem.
