my toshiba laptop mouse is not working

my toshiba laptop mouse (windows 8)is not working. it works before logging in with password but after opening it works for 30-40 seconds and suddenly freezes.please help me i m using an external mouse and it is working.help me asap .i had this problem before but it fixed itself after couple of days.

It sounds like it is conflicting with something, something that is loading or connecting late during your boot sequence.

What programs do you have loading during startup? Are there any other peripherals attached?

programs loading during start up means?? i m not clear can u clarify me about that.and no i dont have any peripherals device attached but sometime i use external monitor for gaming but currently i m not using. i m just using an external mouse

Have you tried the mouse with a different computer? If it works ok with another computer that will rule out the mouse being the issue

i have solved my problem there was some sort of mess in the setting control pannel.anyway thank you very much for ur co-operation.i will be taking help from in future in i will face any problem.once again thank you
