Does anyone have any suggestions for a new keyboard? I want it to be mechanical and brand is definitely no preference. I really like the looks of the Razer Blackwidow V4, but I also like the Corsair K70 Pro is also in my price range. Looking to spend between $100 - $150 on it, because it is going to last me quite a while. I'm currently using my older K70 that I keep as a spare until I figure out which one I want.

It's really hard to suggest a KB since it is personal preference.

E.g i'm using Corsair Strafe RGB with Cherry MX Silent switches. Sadly the G key died on me (had to rebind "g" to another key) and i too was on the lookout of new KB. Wanted to buy the same i already had, but it is EOL. Then thought i'd get Corsair Strafe RGB MK.2, that i bought for my missus some time ago, but fast forward to current date, and that too is EOL. 😒 So, after careful consideration, i bought Corsair K100 RGB.

My new KB hasn't arrived yet (probably later this week) and i can't tell how it is or feels. That, and it is way out of your budget as well. :mouais:

Oh K100 RGB i bought has the new Corsair OPX switches (linear) and i'm unsure how it would fare. 🤔 For one, it's register distance is half of what Cherry MX has it, 1mm vs 2mm. Whereby bottoming out distance is also reduced, to 3.2mm vs 4mm of Cherry MX switches. But force on keys is the same as Cherry MX Red/Silent, 45g. Noise wise, OPX seems to be louder than MX Silent, but alas, no KB to actually test it, yet.
