Hi everybody,

I have a 49" LG Full HD tv in my living room and im perfectly fine with it, but the sound quality is something i wish to upgrade.
I've been to my friends house who has similar tv and just bought a 150eur sound bar and it sounds fantastic.

I have watched some youtube videos and almost everybody don't recommend soundbar.
Im looking for a simple 2.0 or 2.1 sound system i don't need booming bass, im more into sound detail.

I don't play games on my TV i have a PC for that. I only watch movies and series.

I have a budget in about 100-150eur.
And one more thing here in Slovenia were i come from we have an ISP that has additional box for rewinding shows that are on TV.
So right now i have 2 controllers one for tv and one for ISP BOX. I really don't want a third controller for the speakers i would like an option in which i can volume up-down with a single Preferablly TV controller, and i checked i have a HDMI Arc.

Please help me

Bye
Tine from Slovenia

Soundbars are pretty simple, if you want to get some surround sound for movies, the simplest thing is to get a soundbar with wireless rear speaker and sub. While you can get better sounding speakers, I tested a bunch of soundbars, and know what good speakers sound like (I own a few nice sets, including a classic DBX set that cost over 500 back in the late 80s), and I found that the trade-off in sound was not that bad. My favorite price to sound setup was the Vizio

I have a similar Soundcast model to this https://www.vizio.com/home-theater-system/sb3651e6.html , I picked it up used for $80. After listening in a store for a bit going between soundbars, this was the one I liked best for music, over some others that were more expensive. You can probably find something similar in your area. The rear wireless Sub with satellites are nice.

Any external speaker connected to the optical out will need a remote to control the volume, but really it's no big deal, once you start a movie you won't touch the remote again.
