My UPS suddenly cuts all the power and do a long beep

Hello, I have an issue with my Forza SL-800UL UPS. It suddenly cuts the power for my PC (ergo my PC instantly shuts down) and do a reaaaally long beep (like beeeeeeeeeeeee-- and it won't shut up until I press the power button).

It's weird because, when it is running, if I unplug it from the wall, it keeps my computer for the 5 mins that it's supposed to. Also if we have a power cut in the neighborhood, it keeps the PC running too for 5 mins or so.

It's just now that randomly cuts all the power and do that beep. Is it broken? or maybe that's a normal behavior?

If it's broken, can I repair it or would it be better to just buy a new one?

How old is the UPS? The batteries should be replaced every 3 years.

Hello, the UPS is less than a year old.

OK shouldn't be an age issue. Do you have the USB port connected an have the monitoring software installed? Does the UPS have an event log that it keeps? If not, you may have to monitor it with a laptop when the outage happens.

Well I tried installing the software in my Windows 10 and in my Mac and it won't install on either. Apparently Forza has no support whatsoever lol.

Is there any other way I can provide info to get help, other than those logs? Maybe I can test the UPS manually with multimeter or unplugging or something.

What was the problem? I'm trying to fix mine, same exact issue here, batteries are OK, Logs are empty (no time to register when shuts down). No software problem also.
I'm sure it's some hardware problem, electric transistor, capacitor etc... but can't figured it out yet... Thanks!
