My usb drive has a virus

Hello,
my usb drive has a program name "ReadyBoost" i try to put my documents and other items into it but when i plug it into the computer it i can't see anything that is put into the port. is it a virus? if it is how can i get rid of it?

Ready boost is a feature you can use if you want to use your USB as more memory for your computer. You cant put anything in 'ready boost' as it does not really exist. It has no effect on the usb and does not make the storage memory any less (unless you tell\let windows use the ready boost feature to give some more memory to your system. If it pops up again asking you if you want to use readytboost tick the box which says Don't show this message again and click no.
