my usb drivers dont work

Some more info on specific models may help.
Have you tried attaching other USB devices to your system. In case none of them works, you can go to your MOBO's website and update the USB drivers.
In case only your mouse can't install, I guess you can go to its manufacturer website and look for drivers.
