My USB ports don't work

Built my first pc last week in the nzxt s340 case & looks really well !

Only problem is when I plug my phone into the usb slot it doesn't work but as soon as i put my phone down on the table ( ie not holding it up) it starts to say charging and then not charging charging then not charging ect...

Any fixes ??
