My USB ports, mouse port, and wifi card don't work

I just installed a new power supply and video card in my computer. It is a gateway dx4870-ub318. I plugged in every single plug I could find. The system boots up, but the USB ports don't work properly. They supply power, but the computer doesn't install drivers. The wifi card also doesn't work. I think this is because I had to move it into another slot in order to make room for the video card.
