My VGA monitor isn't getting detected by W10, but it was working before

I bought a DVI-D to VGA converter because I wanted to use my old monitor as a second screen. It was working fine until today, it doesn't show up on windows and I can't use it. Can't be manually detected or anything. The monitor works in the bios but not on windows? Wtf. Any idea?

How are you "manually detecting" the monitor in Windows 10? Did you (or windows could have done it for you) inadvertantly set Windows to "PC screen Only" meaning your only wanted one screen in windows?

In the windows config > Display tab using the "Detect" option. It says it can't find another screen. And if you mean windows key+P no, that doesn't work either

How many screens do you have connected?
What model graphics card are you using?
If no discrete graphics card, then what model motherboard are you using?

I have a 60hz Samsung screen 21.5" and my old LG Flatron l1715s. Using a 1050ti G1. The thing is that it worked for a few days and I didn't change anything, just started my PC as usual. The screen works in the bios, not in windows. The vga cable is new.
