My VID for my i5 2500k on the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 is considerably higher in comparison to my VCore. Is this safe?

Hey guys, sweting it out like a pedophile in mothercare atm as i'm trying to find a safe overclock+vcore for my i5 2500k. My vcore is 1.3v, whereas the VID is much higher in the 1.401V reigon. Is this safe? My Corsair AX 750 is also making a whine-like sound. It never,ever does it outside of the prime95 benchmark. Is this safe? Thanks guys!

It shows my voltage when stress testing in prime as 1.4v-1.39v. Is that normal too? Thank you kindly for your help

Which voltage? Vid, it's fine, that's literally a repeated question. Vcore, depends on your speed and how long you want to keep the cpu.

Thank you for you help, i'm much calmer now. Did the stress tests with Prime95 for 20 minutes and it was fine, did 25 standard Intel Burn In Tests and then 10 Max burn ins. Vcore topped at 1.360v. For 4.5GHz i think this is good yeah? I'll bump down volts to 1.29 and stress test for a few hours. Here's hoping everything goes to plan!
