my video card dont go into motherboard

I started to install my videocard (gigabyte gtx1060 video card) but when it gone into the motherboard (asrock fm2a68m-hd+) i saw that a little bit of the cards slot were still out ( i was able to see the end of the copper traces) and my retention clip does not gone into place (my retention clip is a sliding like mechanism not like the original in normal motherboard. I tried to push it on with full force but doesn't worked, i fear i will broke it please help me

PCIe are standard. Look for some videos on youtube for how to install the video card.
