Question My Vizio E321VL doesn't have audio

I recently got a new remote for my TV, (Because my old one broke) and ever since the sound for my TV just doesn't work.

I've tried:
Resetting the TV,
Unplugging and plugging back in the HDMI cable,
Made sure my speakers were on,
Plugged in something else to make sure it wasn't the TV, (The sound came up then, but no sound when I try to watch cable TV)
I've tried looking up what it could be, couldn't really find anything.

Any help is much appreciated.

Then your cable box is being MUTED. There are no buttons on the cable box? U have HDMI connection I presume?

Yeah I use a HDMI connection, no buttons on the cable box either. How do I unmute it?

Remote, which u say it doesn't work.
Button on he box, which you say it doesn't have.

Some of these boxes may have IP access, like via a laptop or smartphone, maybe, consult manual or ask cable provider.

I got a new remote from the service provider, I just don't know how to unmute it. (I got it all programmed too)

I am not a carrier technician, none of us here are but hobbyists with general knowledge. If u followed remote programing correctly and still doesn't work, am afraid only the cable provider can help you.
